Doom Bringers Space Marine Squad
These are the first finished true-scale models of my DIY chapter "The Doom Bringers". The scheme and background for the chapter was created for the Chapter Master Painting Competition held in Northern Europe in 2004. Back then I only had the three models painted for the competition, but over the years my first background draft grew into an entire Index Astartes article with a strong character for the chapter. This was around the time true-scaling grew into popularity, and over the years I often thought about making a true-scale Doom Bringers army. So in 2010 I finally started working on this squad that reached seven models before I got distracted with other projects. Hopefully it will grow even further sometime in the future.
