Winter Sorceress and familiar

This is the Josephine Lucero mini from Reaper, sculpted by Sandra Garrity. The Familiar is a white weasel, they actually do turn white in the winter, and it is from a Reaper familiars pack. I painted this piece on commision to represent a female sorceress that a friend of mine plays in a game. The snow was done with a new product called Snow-Tex from DecoArt. I was very pleased with how well it worked and would definitely recommend it. Like to hear your feedback on this piece. I spent a lot of time and effort on this piece, it almost pains me that it will be used at the table. It's got two coats of gloss and two coats of matte sealer. If that doesn't protect it then.... oh well. Cheers All, Grumb P.S. - is it just me, or are the eyes on the Garrity sculpts a real pain in the arse to paint???

The overall image you have captured works great! Even the white staff. I would tend to have used a different blue, and very pale, thin shading with it on the staff, but still, nice job :) I hate these sculpts. I have done a lot of them.... - Glyn

Looks like good painting on a so-so sculpt. I think the weasel is really great, but it is a little hard to see in the snow.
