Solid 7, nicely painted. The blending is smooth. Love this piece and it makes me want to look into these mini's for a particular friend of mine who is big into cats... Anyways as far as the spots go, I think it would look okay, but not on this particular color of cat... they are extremely potent and don't really mix well into the grand color scheme. Additionally with the utter lack of coloration (spots) on the face it doesn't really carry. My suggestion is if you do a cat like this, take a look at pictures, and see where the coloration and spots are. Usually you see them along the face, (the nose should be a different shade in my opinion, some kinda highlight to make it really stand out), the back which you did a good job on and the appendages. Other than that looks good just needs to not stand out as much, maybe wash over it with some color to help knock it back into the color of the fur...

Somehow these spots look like extra eyes to me. Otherwise a interesting miniature and paintjob.

overall nice job & the spots are nicely done, but you should have either left the spots off or put more on, as it is there aren't enough of them. That's what makes it look 'odd' -Mick
