Lysette - Chick Challenge IV entry
OK, so I decided to go almost entirely with NMM here, only exception is the runes on the sword scabbard... probably should have tried that too... It worked fairly well (I think) on the gold, but not as well on the silver. I can do silver on small areas, but get completely screwed on larger ones (such as the sword). I think I need to start painting lots of Knights or something to get more practice... anyone got any good advice on colors for NMM? I always ask this and never seem to remember what people tell me -heh- I wanted to go with a sort of pastel color for the dress, didn't quite turn out how I imagined, but I like the effect. It's basically GW Ice Blue up to Vallejo GC Wolf Grey. The blending isn't perfect, but not too shabby for only spending a couple hours total on the dress :P Man I need to learn patience...
