This is our first finished mini ever.. Gf has done a dark wash and 3 highlight , she says that , as a former paint artist , techniques are quite different ;she likes the "washing" step as it speeds up a lot to do shadows. Comments are welcome and needed :)

5.5 - not bad for a rank and file plastic orc. I like his face, he's actually got personality. Next time, cover over the base tab with putty/glue/sand etc. so it doesn't show - or cut it off and pin the mini's feet to a base with no slot.

He looks good! I particularly like the face, having the eyes look off to the side gives him a great sneaky look. The green and brown areas might 'pop' a little more with another level or two of highlights. Solid job period, and fabulous job for a first mini!
