first sculpted mini ever : Telisia , elf assassin

this is the first mini ever sculpted by my gf. To be her first one im really pleased with the overall result but I particularly like hairs. I quote here gf comments on this 1st green : " This is my first sculpt in gs, as i usually sculpt clay and ,most important thing, dimensions are a lot bigger then here.... I wanted a rogue/assassin/thief elf, sweet looking but lethal and this art i found on the net (link is http://ackegard.com/gallery/telisia/telisia_doubleboot_ink )was simply perfect. I've tried to sculpt it closer as possible to the original ,bigger problems have been skirt's folds... I'm waiting anxiously comments ..... " ty all in advance for comments D_S

u know what none of u have said, she's not looking at whats she's hitting lol i love playing a half elf rogue but normally have daggers and tend to be more sneeky lol i think if u turned the head the sholderect would fall into place better. she needs to stick out her assets more too lol speaking from the view of a real woman lol

Excelent job for a first sculpt! I think I understand the pose. It's like a big spiral kick thing, right? Like the move Darth Maul pulled in the last duel... Cool!

There are some problems on this mini (namely the shoulders and left arm in particular), but for a first time GS, this is really good work. Others have mentioned the danger in going straight from artwork; if you don't have a good anatomy book, try a mirror. I am constantly "striking a pose" when I do modelling (mostly conversions, haven't had the guts to try sculpting yet)... :)
