Final Confrontation

Here it is, my first real duel: Eltharion on the left, and Shadowblade on the right. The base is solid Rimu, pulled off some off-cuts from a farmer I know, turned down and varnished into this lovely piece. The snow is Woodland Scenics, as is the tree. I was initially going to put some footprints in the snow, but then I thought... wait a minute... they're elves. It's set to be on the road during the snowy season, some distance out from Nuln. I didn't like the Shadowblade figure much at all, but I wasn't about to go converting up another one just so I could practice putting a scene together. The Eltharion figure though is awesome and I enjoyed painting him immensely. Thanks for your comments!

Very cool. I actually rather like the sign (would've taken off the raven as it's direction doesn't work with the other models), although the blue writing looks odd - grey or white/cream might've made more sense. The tree size doesn't bother me at all - if it was too big it might overshadow the models. Anyway, why does it need to be a fullgrown tree? The pic, however, is definitely way too small. Some important details (assassins face for one) are too small to see. Bigger pics and more views would go down well.

The tree should be much, much larger. The sign is corny and un-needed. A bigger tree, new fallen snow. Eltharion under the tree where there is no snow, but a carpet of dead leaves. Shadowblade in the snow. Is there a reason they need to be mounted on bases? It'd look better if they weren't on bases. that's about it. Otherwise the picture is kinda small.

Excellent First Duel, I really enjoy the full base and like the cloak on Shadowblade.
