Tiger of Dirz
Here's a picture of the finished Tiger of Dirz finished in June '02. I lighted up some of the highlights, tried to bring out the eyes a little more (those things that look like glowing nostrils are actually the eyes!) and tried to make the NMM plates look a little better with some success. The brownish flesh was done with Cadmium Maroon -> Purpleheart Red -> Basic Skintone mixes, and the limbs/chest were done with Royal Purple -> Blue Violet -> Andrea Blue/White mix. (All Vallejo colors.) The inbetween parts were actually blends of those colors, but it's pretty abrupt. My favorite parts -- I'm quite happy with the orange/brown skin color -- makes me think of the Rancor for Return of the Jedi. I also like the tail quite a bit.
