The nmm gold on the hilt of the sword acually looks really nice, the blade could use a little work, it takes some time to get right, especially blades. But try to take a step back and choose a angle you want your light source to come from, and lighten the surfaces facing toward the light, with a final brightest highlight representing the point of light itself. As you have it now, you've highlighted the angle between the two reflective metal planes on the blade of the sword, but then they are both the same shade, so there is no sence of a light source, and in turn no sence of reflection of metal. What really helped me get a sense of how nmm should look is by just studying the photos here on cmon really looking as just how people added highlights and shadows.
