Jalahandran Desert Warrior

Painted in July 2002. He's the final PC of my D&D game (the other three being my elf, halfling and dwarf miniatures.) He's a Luminous Paladin who dresses in this way to mask his true glowing nature. I experimented again with using Enamel paints for the metal sword blade. This was a pretty quick mini to paint -- maybe 4 hours total.

Yep, 6. As Crusoe noted, the washes aren't cleaned up, and they just make the figure look dirty. Otherwise fine overall.

It's not worth an 8, and here is why... 1) The blending needs to be smoother. Washes are fine, but you have to clean them up and blend into them 2) The sword seems flat, even for metallic enamels. In this case, I think acrylics would have looked better. Great colors, but for a 8, the blending needs to be a LOT smooth.

Nice work on the green ... really well shaded and the freehand trim you did is very nice as well. One of your best for sure!!!
