First snow (Likaï)
Rackham "Likaï l'Affranchi" I've been trying to get a furry effect on the skin, with a somehow strnge result... Quite good at places IMO (shoulder), ugly on the left hand. I just discoverd enamel metallics, amazing, a hundred times better than acrylics ones! And I have to thank Allan c for his amazing rust tutorial, just plain great. I wanted an hivernal look, I think I managed to get it... Apart from the metallics, the colours are the whole GW range of brown, catachan and jade green, and some Vallejo browns as well (red leather, orange brown, ocre yellow). The ice on the base is molten plastic, looks nice enough but is very difficult to do, I got burnt quite badly once doing those peaks... Bah, part of me went into it ;). I'd like to do a diorama with the whole howling pack.... That is, if I ever get around to finishing the rest of it. ;) Anyway, I'd love to hear what you think of it !
