Chainmail Ahmut's Legion Battered Skeletal Troll

At first, I thought this was a terrible miniature. After I got about half way through painting it, I started to like it more and more. It's got quite a bit of character for your typical skeleton figure. The whole thing was painted with very little drybrushing; I think the only drybrushing was really on the base. Lots of washes which was more of an experiment for me -- usually I only apply one or two washes near the beginning of the paint job. The bone color was made with Vallejo's Cork Brown -> Pale Sand -> White highlights, and the washes were done by mixing of Winsor/newton brown ink, Vallejo Brown Glaze, Smoke, and Cork Brown; then thinned down with water/Future floor polish. This was painted in August 2002.
