Female Twi'lek Jedi (CCV)

My third and final entry for the fifth Chick Challenge. This was painted in Feb, 2005. This was my favorite of the bunch. I really like how the lighting effects turned out with the saber blade. I also like how the blade looks like it's glowing -- the way I painted it was to inverse how I would paint a flat object -- the underside is much brighter/whiter than the top part, to counteract how natural lighting hits it.

Well done. The lighting is great.

Very nice work - the reflected light of the lightsaber and the glowing effect are beautiful. My one criticism is that the shadows around the edges of the folds in the front of the tunic are too extreme.

Way under-rated. Great looking mini and good use of lighting. I like it.
