Your background makes the mini harder to see (both for camera and for us). Try this: Take a sheet of white paper and stick it to some vertical area (like a wall over your desk). Let the lower end of paper lay on the desk (it should almost create the shape of 'c'. Put your mini on the paper and then take a shot. :)
