Aberration

My latest work... I tried a new approach for me on the skin... On a base coat (here GW catachan green) highlited and shaded (GW rotting flesh then white for the highlites, black + dark prussian blue PA for the shades) I tried to mix in lots of different colors, with extremely diluted paints. From what I can remember, there is GW enchanted blue, prussian blue PA, GW golden yellow, GW blazing orange, GW blood red, GW scab red, GW red gore, GW scoprion green, GW snakebite leather, GW bestial brown, PA purple on the skin... Most of them I included in very subbtle proportions (if I didn't know I put them in... I guess I'dn't see them). Everything is true metallics, my usual way of painting it.... GW boltgun metal, shaded with black and highlited with mithril silver. No enamels this time, they'd have been too shiny on a miniature that I wanted really dark. Then weathered with snakebite leather, red, orange, bestial brown, scorpion green. The lighting is particuliar as well.... It's supposed to come from the front of the mini. Well.... I guess that's it... Thanks for reading me ;) Your comments are most welcome !
