Arran Rabin

This has to be my favourite mini - it is very dynamic, has got no oversized weapons and was a pure pleasure to paint. I put a lot of effort into the face (Hasn't Arran got nice teeth?) and how it disappears in the shadow of the hood and into the cloak. Perfectly sculpted and well casted, this miniature has not a single part that was not fun to paint. I do not like Reaper bases, but here such a base was bond with the cloak, so I could not remove it without damaging the sculpt. I eventually put it onto a normal base and covered it with sand. Looks good to me now. I hope you like it. Comments are very welcome and appreciated! (I am very sorry the picture is not as good and colourful as the original photo, but I had lo decrease quality to stay under 100kb. Its size is 99978 bytes now...)

really nice mini, I love the vibrant colors. I'm more of a cartoony style person :P For some constructive crtisime I think the blue cape could be highlighted a touch more on the back. And the blak around the eye is too.... black :P Brwon might be better. Lovely red though. And great technique. Cheers.

I really like the paint job, but I'm not too fond of the color choice; I think he's a little too bright to be a sneaky thief, skulking in the shadows.
