I predict a sudden flurry of "ho ho ho" and "naughty/nice" jokes.

[edit] Good brushwork, as always, Meg. Should fetch a very nice price- lotta guys do like their cheesecake! A buddy of mine got me a UL at ReaperCon this year, but I just couldn't bring meself to paint such *ahem* detailed anatomy...not to mention what my wife'd do to me if she saw it on the bench!

Thing is, it's most likely too late for anyone to get this by Christmas time unless they live next door.

Hmmmn, maybe I'm just an old Prude, but don't like it.
Don't get me wrong; the paintings great, just the subject doesn't work for me.
(And this is from someone who has been appreciating, and thankful for, female architecture for more than 40 years).

Come on! Where is the moral outrage?? sigh.

Very nice painting overall, really well done. I however think the basic premise is a bit cliché and one of which I wasn't particularly fond of in the first place. But clichés sell? :)

The minis are well painted...

But, on the risk of sounding hypocritical, I do think it's too graphic for my tastes. Is the female muffin really necessary?

I just think it would be 'sexier' if it was hidden and hinted at, as opposed to ripe for the taking....

Just to clarify, with my moderator hat on, I've no issue with the mini, but personally, it's too graphic cheesecake for me.

Even Santa looks a bit uncomfortable!

Actually, Santa's discomfort/shock...the sense he is taken aback no matter how nice the present may be...is the thing that makes it work for me. It'll sell for being naughty, but the long term joy of the piece is the comical expression of Santa achieved by the great paint job.

I was thinking about this...were I a really good painter and able to fly from Portland to Denton for Reaper-Son...I can imagine attending the event, getting this spiff there, and were I a pro painter seeing the commercial potential on Ebay. But not being sure what to do with it really...and then lo, along comes the santa mini and "ding", there goes the idea light.

I wrote it elsewhere, but this reminds me of those Christmastime one shot 'toons in the latter part of Playboy. You know, the ones a few pages after the last pictorial.
Love it! Muffin isn't center stage so not that bad,(but I can see that she forked out the extra dough for that anal-bleaching treatment) and since it's on ebay, that'll help it sell for more. Good job on the Mini, AND the Marketing Megface!

Lack of eye contact between the protagonists kills it for me tbh nicely painted but comes over as just two miniatures stuck onto a plinth not a scene being played out
