Nope, I agree with you that Blade 2 was definately better than Blade 3.

and personally i loved blade 3 a heck of a lot more than 2. mainly because of ryan reynolds, not for snipes. god that man has a large amount of smug around him.
Yeah, I agree...looking at this picture...she is SO MUCH more than a pretty face.....Blade 3 has Jessica Biel in it and you liked the film mainly because of Ryan Reynolds?!?
Don't get me wrong, he had some all-time-great lines but...

Yeah, totally.Well yeah, art and entertainment are purely subjective.
Better than this indicates? Sure, that's not a stretch - this shows it as what, a 2 maybe? That's just someone's classic I don't like it = bad film score. The third X-men was better in your opinion?
Pah. Overrated much? I think far too much was made of the performance and the "dark places he had to go to" because of his suicide. Any actor worth his salt could have done the same, that is the job after all.You really think you're going to see a performance to top Ledger's?

Yep, that's why I used it :highfive:"Any actor worth his salt" is indeed the key phrase.
You might be alone there. Not as good as you'd heard, sure, it was a bit over-hyped. But utter tripe would be for me something truly bad, not just disappointing.is it me or am i i the only one who thought the dark knight was utter tripe...
True dat! Similar issue with Snipes as Blade to an extent (moreso in film #3); trying to talk quietly but with emphasis/menace, you really need someone with a deep and/or gravelly voice to pull it off properly (e.g. Clancy Brown)....batman consistently sounded like he was trying to pop the worlds biggest deuce.

Or you may need the opposite. Wouldn't you say Anthony Hopkins manages to instill menace without using a deep and/or gravel voice?
I'm hoping the newest Batman, despite his gravvly 'batman' voice, will continue to buck the trend.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Read the Graphic Novels, Jim. There's a number of times Jim Gordon comments on Batman's 'Gravelly' voice and how it is effective.
1st one good. 2nd one better....Third one???
Here's hoping.[/QUOTE]
She fits in my "Serious Eye Candy" list and not just for her looks either.Blade 3 has Jessica Biel in it and you liked the film mainly because of Ryan Reynolds?!?
Girls has some serious hotness.

She has a great sense of humour about her 'architectural appeal' to men (and women).
yeah there's gravelly and there's just plain silly. i loved the film but his voice makes me laughGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Read the Graphic Novels, Jim. Different kind of thing to what I meant, but to answer the question in relation to his portrayal of Lector, the previous incarnation of him in Manhunter by Brian Cox is far more effective IMO (apart from anything it's more like he's supposed to be, from the books).Or you may need the opposite.
