Little Knight - new sculpt and paintjob

Hi,
Here is my latest sculpt - a Knight for www.runicminiatures.dk to defend the princess model I did last year:

LittleKnight.jpg

I sculpted this guy in Winther and painted him as a break while I worked on my Crystal Brush project.
The design was made to offer a fun and quick painting experience - I painted the model in just about 3 hours including doing the base. To me this is pretty fast.

I hope you like him!

Cheers all.
I kinda like the "cute and deadly" and "cute but not too cute" -comments. Very close to what could have been in my design brief if I had written one. :)

@ Elly3438: Did you go to Adepticon?
The Little Knight was actually there in the cabinet along with my Duchess Death on the whacky ball.

Well done, JRN, your metallic technique makes this mini a lot more impressive than I would have thought, had I seen the unpainted version first. You are the master! If I had painted this guy it would have been too dark, I would have really messed it up!

Unfortunately I didn't make it out this year - the finances and the timing just didn't line up right so I had to pass (was very disappointed). I do plan on coming around next year!

Almost forgot I felt an undeniable urge to buy this mini, saw it when you first posted this thread and thought "oh! I'll get my visa in a minute". Ordered the little knight and princess set a couple hours ago. Too bad that king isn't available, it would be perfect to oversee the diorama I have envisioned. A little scene in the yard/garden with the little'n's playing, I think I'll do the sword wooden.

It's really nice how the description gives real use-able scale info, "mm to the eyes/top of the head/etc", it shows real concern for the customer.
