TBS and the saga of the Wolf.

All things come in time ;) Generally do the weathering and adding of soot/etc after the "clean" version. Only did that one scratchy bit so I could picture if I should really put anything else on the leg. Less is more when it comes to all that stuff really. Don't wanna end up making it look like it's about to fall apart lol!

Tiny update, whatcha fink of the left leg (right as you look at it for our resident eejits). Had no real idea what to do with it, fancied the old school ziggy zaggy wolf guard thing, so I did this.

Well I am a resident idiot I was looking at the blue leg thinking "I can't see anything???" and then it clicked. I really like the pattern it's looking cool. I don't evnvy you painting whatever that trinket type think that is over the top of the pattern though!

Trinket thing? Now *i'm* lost =P
Don't worry Marbo, there's always one, statistically. Just so happens it was your turn. I've had more turns than I care to admit, but shhhh; we keep that on the down low ;)

If there were a trinket thing though, it'd turn out great! The whole thing is gorgeous so far, but the skull and emblem on the sarcophagus just blow me away. And a lovely old model to start. Awesome work TBS!

Oh look it's my turn again! I thought it was a very tiny chain with a wolf tail on that hadn't been painted yet (or whatever space wolves have these days!) but no looking closer it's battle damage. I am blaming this on 1) my glasses 2) my dark monitor 3) the slightly darkish pictures!

In order to minimise trinket related mirages that seem to be confined to me when are you posting your next (brighter) WIP picture? :) But yeah trinket related mirages withstanding it is looking great.

lol! Cheers Khavor, might have to put a trinket on the next 'un just for you. I'll mind to blast it with gamma next time for yah Marbo haha! It is , indeed, battle damage. Misleading maybe since that's the only area i've put any on yet. Gonna go to town with all that when everything's put together and painted pretty ;)

I do have more pics though. Gonna have to open these in a new tab I think, The strip is 5 long so CMoN are going to compact it, so bigger pics, open them in a new tab. This took me ages to finish, so many angled surfaces on dreddy legs! It was a theoretical nightmare, but I nailed it. I'm pleased to announce none of it is actually glare in these pics, that is actually painted...Apart from the metals, but they're also painted lighter where it should be... Still, they're obviously going to be shiny anyway...

But yeah, progress.

Pants, they don't even come out that big in a new tab. Here's a couple of the above shots biggerend...ed...

That's looking nice!

On the pics did you try making it larger in photobucket then using a thumbnail link? Photobucket does it's own resizing too sometimes.

Remember kids, it's down the lane, not across the road. ;) In this case meaning that vertical strips work better at CMON than horizontal ones. It seems that the resizing faerie is stricter on the girth rather than the length. :guitar:

So it's better to strip standing up, Meph? *shrug* Whatever does it for yah, big boy! ;D

Cheers Has ;)

Also just realised I appear to be the new advertising manager for Samsung...

Waking up with an 'S' written on your forehead with a black marker can hardly be considered a job offer. ;)

If you wake up with an "S" on your head, i'd say you got off lightly. I've been known to take full advantage of slumbering individuals with marker pens in the past!

Just to let you know, i'm not above it now =P

Personally I prefer the "S" stylized on a undershirt. Chicks love that.

A guy at my last job woke up one morning after a particularly rough night with "VOLVO 740" Tattooed in green ink along the entire inside of his leg...

I'm not surprised - I mean, have you seen a faerie? They're rather small. Oh - you're talking about pictures. My bad.
