Regarding the veins, next time you sculpt veins try this following tip to do it, should make life a little easier for you.
Many people cut a channel in the shape of the veing and lay in thin rolls of putty and smooth it. This is okay for larger pieces, but this way is easier....
1)Cut a line in the approxiamate shape of the vein with a needle tool/cocktail stick etc (use bodybuilder mags for reference or google images)
2)Now get yourself a clayshaper tool (if you dont possess one I highly recommend them - its a silicone tip brush basically available in a different sizes and shapes) and push the clay/putty back together very gentle. Make sure the line you create is thin and subtle, the cut does the work of holding one side while you push the clay into the ridge line
3) Now you have a rough ridgeline of your vein, simple tease the line in shape with finer detail using the point of the clayshaper.
