BALLSCRATCHER
Please feel free to leave your own. Now if your sitting comfortably i will begin....I am somewhat of a Star trek fan a fact some around here can atest to,
cheers again Trys. Having a quiet moment i decided to inspect a recent purchase of mine namely a mint condition, Boxed, serial number 357 Dinky toy Klingon D7 battle cruiser. I was being watched disinterestedly and intermitantly from the other side of the desk by Daisey the cat who was giving her rusty bullet hole a bit of maintainance. Anyway the 43 year old and the 8 year old in me were both in complete agreement that the firing mechanism required immediate testing. I placed a shinney white torpedoe/disc into the firing port, placed the palm of my free hand over the muzzle and gingerly depressed the trigger....What happened next shocked, stunned (some of us physically) and amazed me. The torpedoe left the muzzle at a velocity its serial numbers name sake would have found immpressive, (.357), narrowly missing the hand placed in front of it. The cat having decided that what i wa doing was more interesting than her butt had looked up at that particular instant and caught the torpedoe square on the nose...Several things then happened instantaniously, Daisey the cat started to sneeze uncontrollably whilst performing a body popping, break dancing routine that would have put any street performer to shame, the torpedoe then bounced of every surface in the room for the next several seconds before disapearing behind a radiator and i banged my chin off the desk whilst ducking for cover.
The moral of this story has several aspects, Never ever point a klingon battle cruiser at a cat unless you intend to use it!
Sometimes its better to have your head up your arse and mind your own business.
and finally they dont make toys like they used to.
Thanks for reading this, even though you will never get the time you spent reading this back i hope its been of some use.:bye:
