An undercoat or primer is needed for most paints.Quite a simple question really, but when I use Vallejo model air, to airbrush a model, do I need to undercoat it first?

An undercoat or primer is needed for most paints.
Vallejo's grey airbrush primer could be helpful for you.
QFERitual said:The main reason for using a primer is not to make paint cover better, but to make paint stick better to the surface. Most regular acrylic paints don't stick very well to resin or white metal, regardless of how the paint is applied. So, using a primer (which is designed to stick) is a good idea.
