I have too big of a house now, so I have crap spread all over. I'm guessing the wife will make me consolidate when the little KruleBear cub shows up in January, but here is what I have so far:
In the upper right hand corner is my original Painting desk that has traveled everywhere I've lived (except the college dorm). To the right are cases and filing cabinets of unpainted minis--errrr---valuable investments dear  To the left are to mission style tables butted together I lift the end leaves up and have a nice big gaming surface. So far this has been mostly Axis and Allies, some old school Space Hulk, and a bit of Settlers (of course now it is covered with more semi painted mini's and a sewing machine).

In the other corner of this room is my old computer desk that has more unpainted mini's and unpainted games manuals.

Recently spread out into the other room with my efforts at building a base for my Ogre mini and my light box.

As of the past 6 months most of my painting takes place in front of the easy chair. This allows me to paint, chat with the wife while she knits and/or watches television. Rolling cart to my left with the paints and gear. A general purpose light above me and a natural light on an articulated arm I can put right over the mini. I use a lap tray from Walmart (has a green cutting mat on it in the lower left of the photo). and I keep my paint pallet wet in a piece of tupperware on the coffee table to may right between painting nights. This set up has actually worked out very well.

Below is my display cabinet. The bottom four shelves contain my miniature farm equipment--need to get more mini's painted for the top shelf.

I also have gaming supplies in filing cabinets in the utility room under the stairs. So far the wife is pretty tolerant---I just don't want to push my luck and move any of my "toys" upstairs.
