really nice attention to detail. I like how you left the cut and drill marks on the welded metal!
nice work indeed.

Thanks guys, it was really fun painting those metal parts - I was looking forward to using the hair spray method and luckily it didnt fail.

Pure juiciness! I realy like what your doing with the metal some of the best rusted steel plate I've ever seen coming on leaps and bounds here. I can see a bronze at Euro coming on here!

Thanks all!

No Bronze with this one as it's not allowed in any of their categories - Can't go into fantasy as there isn't a figure present (unless someone can clarify the rules). None the less thanks for saying so! However I have made a couple of minor updates to the Shelby - Spade, Axe and M2 Machine Gun are all now complete just leaving the top box and body work to do.

I agree with Milosh. And get that body work done...it is looking sad compared to the awesomeness of the accessories. Lol :D

Well, I've driven it through the mud and left out in the rain over the last couple of days. Once again I'm slightly concerned that I've pushed the weathering too far. But it is what it is now - I can't take it to the car wash. Having said that it does look used! Just have the top luggage rack to work on now.

The only thing that looks off is the light highlights on the door edge below the door handles...do not know why, but it does not feel right. Everything else is ace.:)

If it was my car i'd definatly be worried about corrosion. In regards to the model I think its spot on. Are the tyres getting the same treatment ?

Yep, I noticed the tyres looked too clean after taking the snaps, so they're getting dirty tomorrow. As for the streaks under the door handles, they're mean to be rain streaks (if those are the things you're mentioning), not 100% myself on those yet. But I'm sure they'll look better in real light tomorrow.

Being away in France with work isn't good for getting painting done. Well finally I'm home and have had the brushes out and started adding some highlights. I think I need to push a few areas a little more mind. None the less the next major step is to give him red spots.
