Wonderful as always 10 ball! Milosh speaks true! When do you start on the rest of your father-in-laws army? *snicker*

Thanks Alex, I never realised there was so many various of uniforms.

Krule, the yellow is green but turned yellow on the photo. Will green it up a bit as grass stain.

Milosh - good point, I bet his got a whole unit of the blasted things :)

Moetle - an ARMY! Oh no don't :/

Thanks Ellis :)
Well finished the little soldier, just need to put him on a base. Started Broga that I started painting last year at the Golem masterclass with Tommie teaching us NMM.
Reds will have a total repaint, still blending on the golds but the face is nearly finished.

Very smooth blending 10! I don't dislike the reds but probably you'll have more contrast with darker shades.

Looking good 10ball. I need to pick this mini back up at some point. Its a top class mini and starting to look good. Agree re contrast on the reds - probably some extreme lights rather than deeper shades IMO. Face etc is great.

Over and out

Yikes, that is really awesome sir. Your painting is going through the roof. Golems next class might just be the 10 ball tutorial.

That looks great! Nice to see another broga. Are you enjoying it? I really had fun painting mine.

The NMM looks lovely, specially on the legs.

Cheers all !

pariahrob - Thanks, yes really enjoying, its a top quality mini. I find with NMM there is no such thing as to much practice. Its a technique that you are always learning and improving.

Good painting there, and yes it is really down to practice, someday I will dare myself to do nmm on a whole figure... In any case looking forward to see your progress.

Thanks all, bit more done. Going with a stipple effect on the cloak to give that material effect, takes a bit of time but if you havent tried it give it a go :)
I went a bit crazy with the veins on his arm and they look like a tentacle LOL

Have too agree about the tentacle thing :) the stipling looks good also, it gives life to the cloak. It might be a little to strong in some parts atleast I thinks so when looking at the picture. That said I have never myself tested it and therfore dont listen to much to me.

Know what you mean. I spent a few hours stippling, took a photo and couldnt see a blasted thing! Then I went too light and it looked like chicken pox LOL
Its a right game to get the balance of what the mini looks like in real life and what it looks like on a photo.

I agree. I am struggling with the orc that I am painting now to get the picture to look like real life. Not an easy thing.
