Thanks all, great comments as usual that really help my work improve
A few months ago Andy & Will commented on maybe practicing my TMM after the fail on the dwarf axe that I repainted in NMM.
So today I have done just that on this supadupa mini to practice TMM on.
Started with boltgun metal (several thin layers), wash with black, layer up chainmail, then I blended (yes blend not wash) with purple/green inks.
Then scab red and hawk turquoise (glazes). I have discovered loads about TMM today -
1. paint all brush strokes in the same direction.
2. VERY thin layers at a time.
3. Dont jump to a lighter metallic to soon.
4. Their hard to photo because of the damn shine.
5. Its hard to make the mini 'pop' like with NMM.
Some progress picts:

Durak so far, dont know if I like TMM better than NMM they both have their advantages/disadvantages. Its certainly has a less cartoon look than NMM.
Thoughts?
