Cyn, im very happy i did the dread, and its actually pretty funny what people think about my SENMM bluebot. some think its the best thing they ever saw, and some dont understand it at all. Im very happy they liked it at Euromilitaire, as they judge the technique much more than others.

and I think its the best thing I ever saw (SENMM-like). Really glad they realized the great technique behind the look.

Wow, that blue is poping out so much that it makes my eyes hurt. Good job as always skell. I like especially the pattern that you did on the loin cloth.

Miam! under your brushes SIEGFRIED become a real monster!i lookforward the final stape!!
hey you created him! i am only filling the blanks ;) hope you will like him at the end!

thanks friends.
i aint tinting the veins though, really want to keep the semi-cartoony blue look (inspired by Corpse Bride).
i have however made some purple osl from the helmet eyes, basically to make more attention to the face area. it broke up all the cold colors a little.

Its always a tough crowd here, like your other work the witchking has emotion and top skills, base is neat and adds to the feeling.

thanks friends, happy you dont think its total crap hehe. "7" was my own vote ;) "anti-sniping engine" pushed this into an 8,5 which is in my humble opinion inflated.
anyway hope i can have that photo-bonanza tomorrow then i hope to publish more of the latest year's works.

paintied some more on the sigfried guy, but i think i have to take it a bit slow for some days as the pain in my right forearm has started to return. not sure whats going on, but i probably have to think more about ergonomy in the future. both when painting and at work.

outstanding looking monster. I like the veins being white as they are, just has a feel to it that lacks any warmth.

Your metallics are excellent... I guess that you use washes on washes, right? How many washes do you use? do you re-highlight with some metallic paint?
