I feel your pain Zab. I've just had a look at Legendarion stuff and the Primach's are great. I may even be tempted into buying some (damn you). As for the forgeword stuff, I'm holding out for Magnus and Leman Russ......and then probably all of the Daemon Primach's if and when they decide to sculpt them.
Thanks Kbear. I've given the marble a layer of Ardcoat which I've then attempt to buff up. Just so that it reflects the little a little more IRL (which is impossible to photograph but actually looks quite good) Ischa Horus is amazing but there's no way I could replicate it

I also though about a different colour marble but thought it may look a little to busy. I finally decided on trying the sponge stippling effect that Persifal did so effectively on his dwarf dragon slayer
http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?56170-Persifal-s-WIP-Dwarf-Dragon-Slayer/page2 and while nowhere near as good as his, I'm pretty happy with the result so far.
Now all there is left is a little tiding up, a few more details, paint the odd skull, pauldron's and steel reinforcment and I'm done! The ony other thing I'd like to do is dirty up the base a little more. I've read about pigments but have never used them any ideas on which ones to get and how to use them?
I'm on holiday for a few weeks as of Friday so this is probably the last update for a while. I thought I'd assemble him, just to see how he looks. As usual any comments or critiques welcome
Cheers
Tim
