Demi I will do you a quick SBS later today for you on sinew, as for small tendrils plastic rod and a heat source. heat the rod and bend to the shape you want then leave to harden ( about 10 minutes) fit into position and then thicken the base.
And Meph not so tight with the hugs mate my back is fragile ! LOL

You should keep that dark Astralien (not to be confused with Australians) the shade that it is and place him somewhere outside of the light. He is a good shade to represent a lack of light. Reverse OSL.

Very cool stuff! This piece has transformed into something very different from where it started (well, at least from what I was picturing when you started) and it just keeps getting better and better. I'm really excited to see how all the parts come together.
