One of the best female sculpts GW has (had?) in their range...Still have her around somewhere too. Maybe one day I'm brave like you to paint her and give justice to this sculpt.

It's looking like a good start. Thumbs up! And good luck with your next step. What's your aim? Over the edge hyper reflecting NMM? :D

Furthermore I'm quite interested what you make with the flowers on her sword, in my opinion they are the detail point that set the mood for this piece so plz don't neglect it!

Interesting. I'm beginning to come around to The Lady Inquisitor's "suggestion" to vacation in the UK this summer...

Still I think i need to tweak some bits here and there before I finish it and do a tutorial

legend mate, NNM is useful for not just metal but any high reflective surface, its something I could do with practicing a lot more :)

Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Which paint are you using for the highlight? Dwarf flesh or Rakarth flesh?

I got the next leg half done now.
You may also have noticed the feet are different. This is because i was undecided about the first foot i did and i think the second foot wins.
What do you think?

New leg is more contrasty and defined. The original is still nice, but a softer kind of reflection. Your palette for the base could effect which you choose given what you want to portray as the lighting situation on the armour. I think the softer one would work with a desert type theme, but the other would work well with cool ones like urban or forest. ;)
