I went out to spray matte varnish (Anti-shine from Army Painter) on my minis, it worked fine for a few sprays but then became clogged all of a sudden. It wouldnt spray properly and sometimes when I depress the nozzle it kept stuck in depressed position by itself and was spitting (not spraying) out the matte varnish.
I then tried to clean it, first in hot water and then terpentine - nothing helped.
So I have 2 other army painter cans, both grey primers so I took a new nozzle from one of those to use on the anti-shine can. Worked fine for a few sprays but then it just got clogged again, and this was a nozzle that hadnt been used before...
Now im going to get a needle and try and fix it but im wondering if there could be something wrong with the anti-shine can that makes it clog nozzles like crazy. Then can is maybe a year old but not more, I always turn it upside down and spray when im done using it so as to clean the nozzle.
