THANKS GUYS
It was an experience, good comradery from the group too, I imagin it would be the same if we could all step in to a transporter and be beamed up to the USS paint shack. I saw the Dio almost finished Im planning to go see it with the family this weekend. I will take some pics as proof I will also see if I can see any minis I painted hahaha. It was a pleasure and will be a good memory.

My biggest memories of ANZAC day is attending assembly at Wellington College A LOT of the wellington brigade died holding chunuk Bair went to Col. The first one on to the beach swum to set beacons for the troop boats to row a shore in the darkness of early morning. A quick search from the college site Out of 760 Wellington Battalion soldiers who had attacked, only 70 weren’t badly wounded when the unit withdrew. 107 were dead and 394 were missing most likely killed.

Demi I saw your post there :),funny you should ask about the 54mm I think they are a good mix of small enough not to be daunting and big enough to go to town on. The scale 75 ones I have pulled out of the boxes and tacked together and thought I will do them soon-ish, Im a bit scared of the size. what size is Baileys Holy knight?

The Scale Games franchise fallen frontiers is inbetween 28 and 54 so looking forward to that.

BFK THANKS MAN once I have been accepted I will tell the world!

That's a great first piece for P&P, very nice looking marine. And silver already!

You asked about Bailey's holy knight, you mean the mounted one that got gold at CB? If so, that's 54mm. http://pegasomodels.com/productdetails_en.asp?id=792#

So a busy day today had major flooding across Wellington.

We are all good but plenty of basements flooded. We live on a hill so we just have water running past. Been raining for about 24 hours now.
Hope you guys are enjoying the crisp spring air!

I remember the flooding we had a few years ago, we also got away with it. It does make for some dramatic photos.

Hope your all safe Canny, we had some bad flooding here a couple of years ago, lucky I wasn't in the area but it cost millions of damage. People forget how destructive water really is sometimes

Ugh flooding.I remember the flooding in my basement a few years back. There is no good place to be when mother nature gets angry. My grandpa used to say if it doesnt flood it will slide into the ditch, but he was an optimist. Stay safe :)

Well you're right. A friend of mine a few years ago lost his house during the floods in our country. Terrible picture ...
