July - "Gods and Monsters" Contest

well,.. I guess people have started to see that it's fun to do these contests. Plus, it's a really good topic this time out,.. just about everyone likes Gods and Monsters, and most have a model just lying around that will fit the theme, one way or another.

But yes,.. I'm glad to see so many people taking an interest. I'm hoping to get people to try new things, which is why the theme always changes. I figure 3 contests a year. Less then that, and people drift away and/or get bored. More then that, and they start to get burned out.

I can't beat AndyG or Ten Ball, but for me that's not the point of joining in
I will do my best for this competition. I really enjoyed the last one and for me it's that little pressure I need to finish my models. Having a time limit makes me think of ways to make a faster painting process, which would be great if I then use that method for all my other thousand projects (don't look at me like that Gokan...).

Crystella - the mini is Rujo from tiny leads miniatures.

Its just primed with a blueish grey primer that looks cool ! FANTASTIC sculpt by Pedro Fernández but takes LOADS of prep work and pinning (not for beginners imo).

don't worry, there is at least one(me) who will bring the average quality down because of the inability to paint.

It is not available for genereal sale just yet, as they are just finishing up their kickstarter.
