Hey if they say three in the rules then more fool them; anyway I'm sick of painting space marines.

So just started the forgeworld space marine Autilon Skorr

the alpha legion blue is a mix of scaly green sotek green and regal blue. Just add white in increasing amounts all the way to a small dot of white. Then into the shadows with purple glaze.

Quite pleased with the NMM effect ..............don't know what Machete would think

That's a really nice colour Andy. What're your thoughts for his waist cloth etc?

Pretty sure that's Alpharius I painted him up myself a while ago in TMM

machete dont paint space marines to begin with so machete would most certainly not approve this. this particular model i really like however, have to paint it sometime!

however, i wouldnt classify power armor as pure metal, i wouldnt paint power armor in tmm anyway, except iron hands/warriors perhaps.

oh and i spot a mould line on the backpack :soldier:

Yet again the power of NMM shines through

im jealous of the machete picture signature thingy I need to balance the +1 street cred you've instantly got with that by having my own cool pro NMM pic. Come on you graphic artist people do your thing and sort one for me. Tell you what a little comp the coolest one gets a prize a random dip old school GW mini in the post to whoever comes up with the best one as voted for by our lovely forum community! Can't do better than that now can I!

the cloth I was thinking of going for a red swirly patterned cloth quite desaturated in the shadows.

Ha I'm wearing them right now! Funny story it's medically necessary dropped a table on my foot at Sunday school and this is the result warning too the squeamish it ain't nice! It bends all the way back yumm.
