Thank you so much guys much appreciated ...got some more work done on my marine and jet pack today but also mucked around with some bases and there role in portraying the figure with size and situation . Check this out .
In the first picture is Constantine standing on a 2" by 2" plinth with brick base ,because of the size of the bricks Constantine looks big..he has a lot of impact he also looks like he is somewhere large like the capital of Terra or a large castle or Bastille .This is not done by the placement of the figure ,the colour or anything else but the relationship in size from the mini to its surroundings .

Ok so now here is the same size plinth with the same figure the only difference is the size of the bricks in the base .He even looks smaller in the second pics .

I just thought it was interesting to show how a figure can be changed by the size difference between the mini and its surrounds ,this would also work with a pillar,tree ,stone work or a statue or how thick a wall is or how big a door or part of a door or staircase is.
