As always your painting is stunning (note to self about booking tutorial in dubai). But there is a however.... However the flatness of the top of the circle of the halo really throws this out for me. I know that this is a sculpting issue and not the paint job, but it just does not look quite right. Just my tuppence worth.

Hmmm to me flatness isn't the word. It is very reflective and dynamic as a piece of metal, but yeah the brilliance needs to be upped a bit since it is so much the focal point of the piece, IMO. I think it needs to reflect a myriad of colors, from the sun with sharp white hoghlights, to the blue sky, to the gold and red of his armor. Or you can just merge some of those colors and do some amethyst glazes in spots. Regardless, this is an insrant I think where glazing on reflective tones will work well.

Thanks guys.
I always save any small changes to the end. No point microanalysis being any part without the whole considered.

What sun?
What blue sky??

Finally after a long time I have finished this Lady!
This Celestine is a little bit special to me you know.
I started painting it s a new study into how i teach NMM
For those of you that have been on my NMM courses you know that i have systems with which i teach NMM in as understandable way as possible.
Howver I am always looking to improve. Painting this celestine i a new ways systematise teaching the mystical arts of NMM.
All i need now is somebody to test it on.

There's also a second reason this piece is special to me.
As you know (or not) I have been very ill for a while now and during that time a member of the community we love
reached out and helped me. I did not know this person and to have a complete stranger help me in the way he did from halfway around the world
was SAINTLY!
So i am giving this finished piece to him and I would like to hand it to him in person.
I am so happy and grateful for what you did!
THANK YOU MICHEAL HAMMETT!!!
Following his example to pass on kindness where possible is why i started the REAVER TITAN project for charity
and i must say life is better for the efforts!
I hope we all can just help each other and follow his example.

Peace, enjoy.

No prob! Let's see if they are back in business, they disappeared for a while or at least their figure section did. If they are open for biz again then I'll add teka to my basket and get her over to ya!
