Wow, thanks for all the kind words guys! It really means a lot to me. My good friend Michael got second place which was also really cool. It was fun but a little emotional too. I was really hoping to get first, I am happy with what I got, but the I really wanted that top spot. Next year.
There is also a smaller event near me that I will compete in too. I think I am going to be painting Andrea's version of Aragorn.

Zab, the commission work is going great, I am very busy, and still really enjoying it. It's sort of like a puzzle to put each project together in the most efficient way and it goes REALLY fast, which takes some discipline, but is also really fun. It's pretty neat to sit down in the morning and have a couple of finished units done in the afternoon, but you do have to skip some steps and be happy with less than perfect paint jobs. I got a commission to paint a silver tower box which I am really looking forward too. Here is what's on the commission desk at the moment:

I had to add some polysterene bits to the resin bases so i could use plastic cement on the tiny robot feet. I could have drilled them, maybe, but it would have taken too long.
