I struggled a bit with the NMM cooper (bars of the hammers), I am still getting used to NMM but getting confidence miniature by miniature, I think the most difficult is the positioning of light and the ratio of highlight/middle/shadow tone. a part from the smoothness of the transitions. For this cooper I used a range of colours inspired by the ones used by @lonelemming on
his dwarf and the one scale suggests for painting cooper but a bit darker (more like old cooper) I also do not own those colours so I tried to choose similar ones and tried to get a decent result.
Colours used were Petroleum grey, orange leather, golden skin, tenere yellow and white sands and chestnut ink. all from scale75 and glazed with some reikland fleshshade, seraphim sepia and lamenter's yellow from GW. Also a little dab of boreal tree green sc75 on the shadows. To sum up, a bit of a experiment hahaha
I think I should have worked a bit more on the skin, but I wanted to finish asap because my "mojo" was getting lower and did not want to left them unfinished. So I really think some parts could have a bit more love (the back of the hair, a little bit more overall refinement ...) But I call them done.
