Top work on all the contrasts - colour, saturation and tone are spot on! I think this might be my favorite of all the tings you've painted - I especially love the orange shadows!

Hopefully will get some done at end of week.
On training course and Stuck with revision on what puts fires out. :)

Must say to everyone, after what I've seen today.
PLEASE NEVER put Water on a cooking fat fire. I'm really not exaggerating, truly shocking.
Don't think the old damp tea towel or fire blanket over a fat fryer sorts it because it Don't!

End of lecture. :)

yeah ive also done the same type of course. pretty scary
Used to be a Fire Marshal for work, so I understand what Lee's saying

But what's more scary is the stupidity of people during/causing a fire evacuation.
(Same place my mate Paul used to work before he became a Copper.)
Smoking in Paper Stores, Smoking in Paper Shredding rooms. = Employment ended!

BUT THE WORST BY FAR Once had an alarm go off (not a drill) Fire Brigade turn up and we're one person short on the head count.
'Smoke Breathers' suit up and head in (Computer centre lots of nasty chemicals and toxic fumes of plastics and computers) finds missing person still sat on the loo.......Quoted exactly as reported by Lead Fire Officer...."I'm not coming out ' til I'm finished!"

Cost the centre £250 for call out and an additional £500 for search, due to their ignorance. (*)
Cost the person their job!, and me three days worth of report writing.

(* After so many false alarms at a site you get charged for the call out. All the false alarms eventually identified as being caused by laser printer toner affecting the sensors. £160K to replace the lot.)

In three weeks is the Golden Demon winners day and along with other winners ive been asked to bring in a showcase of my work for GW to exhibit for a few months at Warhammer World.

So ive spent today sorting out the snow on Gandalf. As Andy (who saw the mini last month) can tell you the baking soda I used for the snow effect want YELLLOW so urgent measures were needed. Ive repainted in pure gloss white with touches of blues. Then added vallejo water effect with crushed glass in places.

Congrats on the GD winners invite. Not sure I've seen your gandalf piece before....love the aged beard discolouration on it.

"Don't eat the yellow snow." I've heard people say.

But other than that, congratz on the GD display thing. A lot of people will be seeing your minis. :D

THAT is one sexy booty!!!

Beautifully glossy horns as well. They're fairly different to how you normally see them painted on minis but I reckon they suit perfectly.

Awesome stuff!

I'll bet Slambo gets super angry when puke-head splatters on his one sexy booty. Probably doesn't care as much about the other.
