Wow, that shimmering cape looks awesome, very irridescent, and the OSL magnifies the effect. Great job!

Thanks gorb, but it is not really shimmering, I would use the word glossy :)
Still thinking of toning it down with some satine varnish.

Awesome job on the GS Magus LL, beautiful use of colour and blends throughout. The little bits of OSL really bring it to life though, such a nice piece.
This looke great. I love the textures and details. The vein on his head is just, “wow”!

Thanks guys, the blending was a 2D blending experiment (from green to turquoise and from dark to light)

I’m going to branch out LL and take on a few more forum members in my circle.

Thanks, BAM. I am trying to post worthy contents:good:

E.g. I continued working on the marshall, Failed to do a correct and good looking GermanCamBlackBrown to Ivory transition on the white shirt, I switched to intermediate colors VMC 70.986 Deck Tan and VMC 70.884 Stone Grey:

Some more progress, took two days of vacation to finish the minis.

Yesterday I finished the imperial agent base, but the head is still floating above it. Maybe I will add some white glue under it:

And the marshall, the jeans is based on 1:1 mix of VMC 70.841 Andrea Blue and Ivory, in progress:

And finished (I encountered mold lines while painting the jeans, it was easier to add seam lines than to file the mini):

Then painted the boots, based on VMC 70.814 Burnt Cadmium Red, highlighted with VMC 70.845 Sunny Skintone, and the fold on the jeans, with Deck Tan and a hint of Andrea Blue:

Hi MAXXxxx, I planned to do it yesterday, but sleep deprivation won with KO:

Some more progress on the marshal, but I had to finish it for yesterday, so less pictures, more painting.

Weapon belt was done with VMC Chocolate Brown, jeans belt with VMC English Uniform, jacket with VMC Leather brown, highlighted with VMC Sunny Skintone:

DaBeebs, BaM, eki, thanks!

The marshal was finished super fast.

Used VMC Carmine Red for the scawl, VMC Dark Sea Blue for the hat (I concluded that it is made of wool, leather would be too heavy), plain Ivory for the strings on it.
The stock and the forestock were done with VMC Cork Brown, glazed over with VMC Cavalry Brown.
Sand was heavily drybrushed with Vallejo pigments 73.103 and 73.102 Dark and Light Yellow Ochre.

Is it an elf,a goblin I can’t make it out due to the super glare of awesome ;) what actually is it, not that it matters it could be gold plated doggie poo and it’s syill stands for first place, the gold standard and times 4 is incredible. Every year your crushing these guys. Cannot get any more consistent than that!!

it's called Golden Gobbo, so goblin.
Design varies from year to year, with the exception, that it's usually an old-school gw style goblin with a brush instead of a spear.

for me it looks like this year it rides on the shoulders of a SM.

Congrats LL!!!! Enjoy your over the moon feeling.

Nice work!

Congrats LL - well deserved awards there!

Congratulations!

BAM, Dexter, Hairster, Toad, thanks!

BAM, I cannot really sort out them either, there is a gobbo standing on the top with brush and palette, then a half marine armor, other half is a skeleton, with some Hungarian map medal, latter grown up with some underbrush, like flowers, snail, etc.

And here are the long awaited Gabriel Blackburn photos:

Congrats on the awards! You earned 'em!

On the Blackburn piece; killer job! Did you think about weathering the ends of the barrels to make them look heat-soaked? I think it would add some flair to the end of that massive gun?
