Hey... that\'s the exact same persecutor I\'m working on! Love those drunes... I\'m nearly finished. I have some work left on his boots, axe handle and that collar thingie. Then there\'s the base and then he\'s finished!:bouncy:

Use a real chrome sphere(penker where I live). That would be blasphemy,I would get hounded from the site to spend the rest of my days on another forum.
But I have thought of placing her on one to take some pics for painting reference.
And if I do the reflection on the sphere you would get a better view of her tats.:D

BTW Scott,I totally agreed with Tammy on the face colour but now you have explained it makes so much sense.Make sure to put it on the notes when you post the image though as I dont think every one will get it.

Your Fianna\'s looking pretty good so far, but you might want to lighten up the shadin along her spine. Looks like she\'s got a wierd implant or something... unless of course thats the look you wanted, in that case never mind. ;)

Cheers,

wanna feel good about yourself?

i started this one a while back, i wanted to do something different, way different.

and i had just read the article on lightsourcing, and wanted to try a drastic one.

with that said, this is a wizard (duh) in the middle of the night, her only only only source of light is her wand, its a dark and stormy night, the moon is washed in a cloud of black.

shes going to be in a diorama, very simple, her and a tree where the tree is also heavly light sourced. its going to be called \"night lite\" :D

p.s. yes the pictures stink, but you said you wanted WIP so this was \"off the cuff\":D

well i am very glad i dont have to do the metal, and yours looks smashing!

light light is different from colored light, its definatly very tricky working with purple!

lol leave it to me to start out the hard way!

Here\'s my latest wip, a space marine. He\'s almost done but I haven\'t yetr decided on the base. He\'s supposed to be a sort of winter marine, hence the icy colours, so maybe I should do a snow base but will it be too much white?

NICE work Astonia ! Love the armor and the colors on it. Very gritty and nice, but is this a metal mini ? Because the head doesn\'t look like one of the plastic and I\'ve never seen this mini before.

Right.. I\'m going to work on my Grey knight termie, pics later.

@Astonia
That one looks great! It\'s a Blood Angel Death Guard or something, isn\'t it? I have an old box of those at home with most of \'em unpainted. I was thinking of painting a few for fun some day, and had a similar colour scheme in mind (the \"Cyril effect\"!!! :D) and I was going to put them on some industrial resin bases that I\'ve bought from Groundforge (Spacemunkie\'s business). I\'m not much for snow bases, but I guess one that is just partially covered would look nice, as someone suggested.

Astonia, that marine is lovely! A partially covered snow base would look great. The white would make him look even more weathered! Good stuff:D
