I have been trying to sculpt some minis and I noticed that it is fairly difficult to get the putty to stick to the armature. Are there any methods anyone can suggest that help make putty stick to the armature better?

I bought some FIMO and I noticed that it is sort of brittle when I try to use a piece. Is this normal? Kneading it made it better but I just want to make sure I did not get a bad batch.

When I paint, the paint never flows from the brush to the mini well and it has always causes my painting to look a bit choppy or blotchy. Anyone have a good tip on how to improve paint flow?
