Thanks all :)

Demi - yep thats the two brush blending I use, it can be done with one brush by 'sucking' paint off the brush tip and dragging across like a clean brush.

More work on his right arm. Still using an extreme 'forced contrast' technique.

Tsse tsse. I go for a holiday vacation and wen I come back you have all this already ( run for brushes and minis ).

Lovely painting job 10. The face is just jaw dropping. How big is it?

Very nice mate. The blending is very smooth indeed. That forced contrast thingy has worked out very nice and has added a lot of depth and interest to the mini. I would consider if you have time a more involved base maybe helping tell a story but you know I'm not going to get into the whole c thing again if you have some time it might be worth thinking about as this is easily good enough for euro.

Thanks mate, the base came with the mini and I had already attached him to it before painting. For once I made a good solid job of fixing him to the base so didnt want to risk any damage changing it at this late stage.

Very cool, nice to see what you can do at a larger scale. I'm glad I am not the only one who gets sucked into improving my kids things with my hobby obsessions. Mine asked me to fix her Candy Land pieces since they kept falling over. I spent 2 evenings weighting the bottoms of the pieces and then filling them and put nice felt pads on the bottoms cut to the shape of the pieces. o_O At least now we can play to find out who will reign supreme for total candy dominance without the pieces falling over.

Thanks all :)

Khonner - The jacket is GW sand (whatever its called?) / shadow with vmc camo black / highlights with vmc buff & ivory. With a few glazes of vmc orange (that I seem to use on everything).

So jealous of the way you guys just whip up bases. Excellent work on the big guy. I sometimes use one brush to smoosh two colors together when wet - not sure I could handle two brushes.
