great job 10ball, that eldar look really cool.

i believe fluffwise the other guy, sigvald (think his name is), has blond hair, personally dont care much 'bout fluff but you risk being lynched by the gw fanbois over here. just sayin he look really sinister anyway hehee

Last night started with red hair and somehow it turn out blonde!! I went too strong with the yellows and it looked like fire on top of his head so turned it into blonde and it looks good I think

also did the blade which I am really pleased with, seeing Ive only just started with NMM

so thats some successful painting done last night, oh and burnt lips / tongue (this is explained in general discussion as a warning).

Oh yes, that blade looks very cool. Almost like lifelike like.

Blade looks realy good transitions are very subtle. Do you have a wash of colour over it?

yep, ice blue.

Maybe if you want to risk it when you have the breastplates and all that done reflect a little bit of the colours of that and maybe the hair very subtlety in the blade. A risk on such a super sweet blade but next level and all that. I'm talking just a hint not any details just the barest amount in a thin wash that is accurately placed. ***** just an idea ignore if you want******

Will give it a go on a test mini , I've got loads of
old heroquest minis to try all sorts of methods on

Also will try my all new, wet pallet that's just come

I think if you read the back of the blister packs for hero quest minis that what it actually says their for to test ideas before you use them on real minis lol.

On the other de nada glad you are using it rather than it just sitting there.

Yeah that guys is looking good and I like the blonde hair. The blade is especially sweet.

That dark eldar is looking really nice - I'm digging the blue tone in the skin very much. As for sigvald - ace work on the blade, and his hair is spot-on blonde. What yellows did you use in there? I always struggle to find a natural blonde shade and end up with either ginger or YELLOW hair. Keep up the sterling work, Mr. 10ball, sir

Me in Japan - thanks for the comments, the blond was GW foundation yellow, sunburst yellow
up to bleach bone then White. The contrast was with washes of sepia.
Still needs a bit of work, a few highlights here and there

I'm liking it very much skin ace face brill stomach cool blade bottom bit very good however I'm thinking the transition between the middle glint and the dark section just after could benefit from a little more smoothing maybe just a tad but over all it's damn fine!

Yep was thinking the same, goes black to harsh. All the armour is going to be in NMM gold .... gulp!

Do it do it do it! Weird but I think that gold nmm is more forgiving than steel nmm just got to get the horizon line right and it's all good.

Once you've done it you'll never go back! Got to say you've realy progressed very well indeed with the nmm
