Cheers all :)

Been doing base work all week.
First a more compact that usual base for the elves.

And also a duel project ive been working on. In this case the base needed a lot of planning and preparation before I started the minis.
With a duel I feel its all about composition, so ive also slightly converted the minis.

A very classic scene with the duel. That dwarf trollslayer has always been such a cool sculpt with such a dynamic pose. Your duel scene from last year was so badass it would be hard to beat. I just fear that the dwarf in his vertical position along the wall attacking a green skin is just a bit overused. But I am sure that your masterful painting will nullify this.

Oh, double duel! Dwarf vs Orc and Ten vs Skel!

I really like the start to the duel scene. Great action and nice colors on the rocks. I look forward to seeing what you do with the figures. Have you thought about adding any tattoos to them? I feel like both figures would be good candidates for some tattoo work.

Hey Ten, on the Elf's gold, do you have any tips for placing the little dots of high light? The little hot spots? Thanks!

Cheers all :)

Bloodfather - my duel last year was a great idea but needed to be painted better is the fact of the matter.

Demi - I use pure skull white, with a very fine tip brush. Dont place them on another highlight and just get a tiny speck of white. To see it mastered look at razza's or brokenblade's sigvald now they know what their doing :)

Been raining all day so been painting the dwarfs face / skin. Great little character and SUPER quality plastic sculpt from GW.
Pleased with him so far.
