Honestly have to disagree here, bronze was fair imo the lotr was a hard category, Anas gold winning mini was slayer material to me and glazed over (?) have some incredible sharp freehand. Hmm 10ball stole my bronze though lolOkay so you got your bronze demon ,shame on the judges should've won gold
Ive been to the last 6/7 GDUKs and without a doubt it was the hardest LOTR category of seen.
I reckon because GW cancelled the others and left the UK GD to the last minute all the best painters blasted a LOTR mini out.
Skeles correct the gold winner was slayer standard, Gareth (glazedover) took silver (he usually gets gold, bless him), and a real handsome chap whos name i forget took bronze.
On the day seeing i was againts the above plus skel, averlorn, rogland etc i was shocked to get in the winners.
Stef, i will never forget your face mate when they put Gandalf on the top shelf, i couldnt see because of the crowd, all i saw was your hand go up, and your face had the biggest smile, a great day mate :hug-right:
he became a dad and is pretty inactive at the moment. hope he return to the hobby soon though!
