That goblin looks like a great little character and I'm really liking the work you've done so far. The nose seems a bit dark, but I have a feeling you haven't finished with it yet.
Stef - Yep, shame I carnt come back with you and Andy and have a few beers but im getting flak from the mrs
More WIP, been increasing the highlights and glazing some yellows on the skin as the greens were a bit 'acid'. Had to be careful didnt want the skin to clash with the green im using on the base.
Ordered some mushrooms that will go well with the scene I reckon
I can't believe how effortless your basing seems to have become in the last two years. This gobbo is cool, the paint job is shaping up to Ten ball standard, and the base loks like hisnatural environment. Thumbs up!
Goblin looks awesome! Great mini. I can't wait to see how you handle the bee. Can I ask why you basecoat the head brown before you lay down the green all over the figure? As others said, the base looks awesome, too.
I have a Blacksmith figure sitting on my desk, waiting for my skills to catch up with my ambition!
Thanks krule, its since ive statred using milliput and sculpting the bases. I highly recommend people to have a go and make the base fit around the mini instead of the mini fitting around the base.
Saintt - the greens sit better on a brown undercoat espically the deep shadows. With some paints it makes no difference but with scale 75 as they have this translucent effect it helps.
Dave - Nah never get him finished, im putting in vorag as a single mini - no doubt againts your Gutrot
Can't wait to see your's, Andy's and Sproket's and other's minis tomorrow. What's a good time to arrive I've never been before and don't want to get up too early/arrive too late!
