MASK. I\'d completely forgotten about that, and I used to have the books with the holographic covers too.

apparently there is a transformers movie in the works. reckon it could be decent if they use similar CG to the Peugeot/citroen add(can\'t remember) looky
and it looks like they got a decent action movie director too.
I\'ve just checked the filmography for the Transfomer M=movie director - Michael Bay...

Bad Boys 2 - ok
Armageddon - ok
Pearl Harbour - ok
Lionel Ritchie videos - ??? ??? ???

Mask were awesome! I remember the first one I got, the quad bike. In my school you weren\'t allowed to hang with the cool guys if you didn\'t own mask (this would be around the age of 7). Just after that was battle beasts, none of my friends remember these though, perhaps it was a regional craze.

While I certainlly remember He-Man I\'m just a touch to old to appreaciate him, but my wifie (6yrs younger) is a big fan. My kids (5yrs and 3yrs) are huge He-Man fans, so much so in fact my 3yr old daughter insists on being called \"Force Captain Adora\" and typically refers to her mother as \"Queen Marlaina\" and myself as \"King Randor\" even in public, her brother is of course \"Prince Adam\" or \"He-Man\" as the situation dictates. In order to get her to sit still at the table I must often say somethign like \"Force Captain Adora your orders are to sit tight and guard this table from the evil forces of Skeletor\" (yes, I can never remember the name of the bad guy from She-Ra even though they (kids) watch He-Man and She-Ra DvDs constantly.

IMHO the \'80s were when the miniature industry hit it\'s peak in production and minis from that time make up most of my favorites, painting was still much lower than it is today which allowed me to be a king amongst men back then as I\'ve been painting at about the same standard since the later half of the \'80s. My 5s and 6s today were the 10s of the \'80s.

I still ahve some battle beasts. Loved those guys. They may have been the reason I got into minis. They were collectable figs with interchangeable weapons, different factions and simple \"wargame type\" rules.

I too loved Silverhawks and Galaxy Rangers.

Bat Fink is being shown on BBC2 most mornings at 7am I think. One good thing about having a small baby is having an excuse to watch childrens tv even if it does mean getting up early to do it
