Yeah, I got two huge projects I need get going on for CB. As well as two possible squads and a fantasy single. Plus a figure I wanted to paint for my dad for Christmas which hasn't even arrived yet!

My Black sailors arrived today. The casts are so, so good and the details fantastic. These guys where made for display.

CB is the weekend of April 1st, so I have just under 4 months to get this all done, haha.

Testing out a new light box set up, basically the Massive Voodoo trash bin version. I just need to get a backdrop that fits the space properly. Here are the test pics http://imgur.com/a/oGG7n

Looks like the new setting works nice... at least to me. Will you share a pic of the setting? just curious on how you adapted things... ^^
The eyes on the horned poney thing look ace, also I like the red and the golden NMM crown, seems that I tend to prefer bright "orange" NMM gold than its paler yellow version. The goblin could be a simple piece as you say, but it looks very nice and fun to work with. I agree with saintToad about the fur too.

Checked the studio paintjob and realized my crown was broken, so I had to get that fixed asap.

After a holiday break and a wonderful Christmas/birthday present of the flu, I'm back to painting. Here's what I'm up to now, it's a 54mm Scottish Piper from Andrea. This will be a gift for my dad to remember my late mother. She was first generation American with Scottish parents. My dad was in a pipe band and he and my mother met at a highland games. The tartan on the piper is her clan/family tartan, which is very difficult to paint at small scale.

Nice job and the heartfelt gift made me tear...it really did...that's a deep gift for anybody never the less a poppa..thumbs up in a big way.
